Fees
The cost of treatment is decided at the assessment, never before. Below you will find the price of the consultation, the initial periodontal treatment and the most common procedures; you receive a written estimate before any treatment.
When do you receive the estimate, and how do you pay?
- The treatment plan and its cost are explained to you at the assessment visit, before any treatment; nothing begins without your agreement.
- A detailed estimate is provided for periodontal treatment, surgery and implants; you may forward it to your insurer.
- Dr Hazout is contracted with French national health insurance (conventionné) and the carte Vitale is accepted. Payment by cheque, cash or card.

Initial periodontal treatment is charged as a whole, for the entire mouth, never by area: all six sextants are treated in a single visit. The procedure is described on the periodontitis treatment page.
Root surface debridement, with or without laser, is not reimbursed by French national health insurance. On the invoice it keeps its name in the national health insurance coding, « surfaçage radiculaire » (root planing): depending on your policy, your top-up health insurance may then cover part of the cost.
